PSAI Old Oakland is excited to announce Old Oakland’s newest addition “popuphood”. Popuphood has curated multiple retail shops to open in Old Oakland for a Grand Opening on December 9th, just in time for the Holiday shopping season. This critical mass benefits the already thriving restaurants and bars by increasing the neighborhood profile and positions Old Oakland as a destination location! This local urban initiative creates a dynamic neighborhood where folks can stroll, dine, drink, and shop, while exploring the neighborhood, discovering its historic charm, and investing locally. Please see some of the new exciting shops slated for move in over the next month:
Marion and Rose’s Workshop
461 9th Street
Cherish traditions, not trends. It’s simple ideas like this that are behind Marion & Rose’s Workshop. We believe in high craft, good design and fine art for everyone. The shop features a well-edited collection of objects, clothing, and uncommon home and personal accessories from all over the world. The name Marion and Rose is a tribute to our grandmothers who lived in a time when things were built to last. Items they acquired withstood a lifetime, to be passed down for us to treasure. Marion & Rose’s Workshop is a place where people gather, ideas are exchanged, and traditions are born.
